The cruise organizers also have a Low Carb Cruise Facebook Page, where you can get current event information and meet some of the folks who will be cruising with us.
Here’s the answer to one common question:
No, the cruise line is not making special Low Carb meals for us. The last I heard, there were about 70 people signed up for the cruise with our Low Carb Group. The ship carries a few thousand guests, so they don’t change their menus for one group like us. However, I have sailed on several Carnival Cruises, and I have never found a problem getting plenty of great tasting Low Carb food onboard. I have also heard that they have specialty menus for special needs guests (low-fat, kosher, etc), so I am looking forward to checking that out on this cruise. Maybe they actually have Low Carb dishes on one of these special menus!
